LESS PLASTIC, LESS POLLUTION

More than 400 million tonnes of plastic is produced every year worldwide, half of which is designed to be used only once. Of that, less than 10 percent is recycled. Big changes start with small steps.

In the Centauros high school environmental technician’s students commemorated the environment world day. They carried out an environmental awareness campaign on recycling standards that encourages people to improve the use of plastics in their daily lives.

Eleventh Grade students invited their high school classmates to use less plastic and recycle it, in order to reduce plastic pollution. Changing starts at home. Therefore, they invited each student to bring a plant to make a garden in this educative institution.
